How can i disconnect my LAN Connections By DOS?

I want to find a command in dos, that can disconnect or connect one of my LAN Connections.
For Example My Connection Name Is Local Area Connection 1 And I Want To Disconnect It And Connect It Again By DOS Or Visual Basic
Please guide me

At the dos prompt "c:\:" you need "ipconfig /release" to disconnect from the LAN, and "ipconfig /renew" to reconnect.
