depends more on your personality. I've seen fat people with tons of friends and skinny people with only 1 friend. It depends on your charisma.

Not really, I have overweight friends and they are popular. I think people ought to start looking past the outside image and see people for who they are.

It's always easier to make friends, have a boyfriend and get a job if you're slim and good looking.
I have to admit (and I'm really sorry) that although I know it's not right I do it sometimes too.
When I had to hire my PA, I went for the good looking one as it was an extra credit.

no, it is great to see "normal" people on TV, rather than people that look like stick insects with huge heads and lolly-pop stick bodies.

Only for the younger generation. I don't think the older more "mature" "intelligent" generation has that bias.
