Tough one. I have the same problem. Start by forcing yourself to stay up during the day. Your Circadian System is out of synch.

You might want to look at getting a 3rd shift job ;)

But if this is a repeated problem, find out what you can do to relax at night before going to bed. You may be too tense.

Things like too much caffeine
Too much stimulation before bedtime (such as watching action shows on TV, or thinking about things, or listening to music with a fast beat can all keep you from relaxing).

I'd recommend watching and minimizing your sleep time during the day.

Do you work night shift? what are your sleep habbits right now? My suggestion is try to get up with the aide of an alarm clock. stay in a sleep routine sleep no more than eight hours at a time. too much more than eight hours does more damage than good. try working out it will relax you and make you feel better in the long run. give your body an reason to get up in the morning. dont hit the snoose button on the alarm clock. that only makes it worse. try to get up right away drink a glass of water before you go to bed and when up get up in the morning. again set up an excersise program it will help you more

I have always been that way. I used to sleep from 7am to 4pm. Then I started having my husband call and wake me up at 1pm every day. At first I was tired all the time. Now I have adjusted and sleep from about 3am to 1pm. I really don't know if I will be able to get up much earlier than that, but this is working for now.

Just keep stayoing up until you can't stay awake. Eventually you will be able to sleep at night, as your time changes.

If that fails, try a bottle of wine, and I mean the whole bottle, not just a glass.

I'm having the same problem. Minimise your coffee intake, don't do any form of excercise an hour before going to bed and relax when you're in bed and try not to think af anything bothering you.

First, the place you sleep must be good ventilaed, simple furnished,
be good fogged.
And you need to get ready to go to bed: not to eat too much at late, clean up your mind from many thoughts, clean up your body...
It'll work...

try to stay up for 2 days straight, then go to bed at 11.00 pm, get up at 8.00 am, keep doing this for at least a week & eventuly you,ll fall into a pattern. Works for me, when I screw up my sleep pattern.
