The greatest undeveloped resource of the world is faith and the greatest unused power is prayer.Because people have forgotten to pray. Our deepest source of power and perfection has been left miserably under developed.

Not sure this almost sounds like an ecological question - but it's in philosophy so.....

The power to take on the responsibility of choice is the greatest unused / undeveloped resource in the world.

If we stopped succumbing to cockamamie beliefs (i.e. a higher power 'allows' terrible events to occur), and if we began taking responsibility for own actions (and the consequences); If we didn't stop to judge those around us and concentrated our efforts on being individually conscientious, things would fall into place. Like a grand puzzle.

As it stands we still have excuses not to watch our behaviour. This allows us to sedate our individual consciences with ridiculous beliefs. The lack of attention to the individual 'responsibility of choice' only adds to the great pool of catastrophic events.

Not even suggesting I have this one in the bag either - I need to seriously work on it.

Love. Odd answer, I know, but if we tapped into the power of love and mental health, deliberately, we'd have a team like the Dallas Cowboys instead of factions, gangs and terrorists. This would require a deliberate education in mental health, which is necessary for love and which is widely ignored in Western society, so I don't see it happening, but think about it. The greatest acts come from the powerful motivations of man, which are only ignited in a passionate society. A guy built the Taj Mahal for his WIFE, ffs. We don't see that kind of passion much anymore. THAT is the greatest untapped source of power that could unite the earth and empower us in unimaginable ways. Love. Imagine that.

power of the human co-operation.
The unit European Community is far stronger than the individual states they were a decade ago.

Imagine the United Earth Community
1) 20 % total world budget for army
2) Use up all agricultural and industrial over production - by transforming it into a bigger and vigorous economy. (fed people with facilities)

Just these two can produce more economical wealth than all the combined renewable energies we have on earth.

But harnessing it is extremely difficult - ask ANNAN.

resource- the ability to grow cereals and eat them ourselves, rather than wastefully feeding them to animals and eating their meat. For every kg of beef raised, 14kg of grain are needed (and water is wasted, pesticides are used, subsidies are granted)

Unused power: giving, instead of trying to turn a profit at all costs and screwing over the less priviledged (usually overseas)
