My sister's 20 yrs now and still sucks her thumb when she thinks no ones looking......is this out of habit or cos it taste sweet? Mine doesn't.......he...he.......he

I do it when I'm bored or extremely tired. It's genetic.
People who suck their thumbs started doing it when they were in their mom's womb.

I sucked my thumb until I was 12. I think I proved all the people who claim that thumbsucking ruins your teeth wrong. My teeth are perfect. They're straight and I've never even had a cavity. The only thing I've ever had done to my teeth are bi-annual cleanings.

It is a habit. It's her thing. I like video games---good ole digital crack. I am sure we all have little quirks. We're human. Hope that is her only problem.
Let her be. Better her thumb than a stem.
