Eric, I think most people are here to have fun in all honesty. Sure there are a few who really are looking for help. But most questions seem repetitive or people just fishing for opinions.
(How many times are people going to ask how the sun burns in space when there's no Oxygen in space?)
(Is is okay if I have sex? My girlfriend and I.... yada yada yada...)
The important part for YOU is, are YOU enjoying the site? Maybe for you it isn't the percentage (although I peeked and 36% is very respectible, higher than many people on this site!) You have to decide what you like to do with this site and your answers.
Personally, I mostly answer questions that I really feel I can offer something on. Am I upset if my answer isn't picked as best? Heck no. But it's a nice feeling when it is, particularly when the asker picks it!
Oh, BTW, in my humble opinion. Quality over quantity my friend! And that can hold true for far more things than this silly web site. Lay off those Snackycakes Cartman.

Personally, I try for a mixture myself. I prefer to have a significant portion of my answers serious and well-thought but I also enjoy answering polls and rude questions that I know I won't get a best answer for. I think when the answers get to be more than a page or so, no one will read them all. I really wonder about that when they have those celebrity questions. I can barely read more than 2 or 3 of the serious answers. I think the other thousands just kind of get lost.

Im here for the sake of it and for the fun of it.

I agree with you. Quality is better than quantity. some of the meaningless babble or just yes or no crap is not quality.

I don't care about the quantity or quality of my answers.
If it's an opinionated question, I'll give my one cent worth,
If it's it's a direct question seeking information, I'll help if I know.
If it's a ridiculous question, I'll ignore it.
If ...................................................(better don't talk too much or the quality of the website will deminish.. Do you think so? I don't.
