There's a great way that I've been using for several months and that's Netflix. I can't explain it all here because there are different plans, but basically: for $18 a month, you can rent DVDs online that arrive at your door by mail (3 at a time max.), keep them for as long as you want (NO late fees), and then ship them back whenever you feel like and get 3 more. So that's potentially around 45 DVDs a month.

I've been ordering DVDs that I actually want to own, so I bought blank DVDs which I then copy the movies onto once I receive them (DVD X Copy and Nero6 are just a few programs). I pretty sure it's legal as long as you keep them for personal use and don't distribute them.

This might sound a little overblown, but once you get rolling, you really benefit a lot from it.

But hey, for a simpler, more expensive route, you could still do eBay or purchase used DVDs from a video store. Have fun.

If you want to buy cheap DVDs, maybe you might want to consider buying pirated DVDs. Here in Malaysia, you can easily get it at the night markets or here in Kuala Lumpur there's a famous place called Petaling Street. You can even buy the latest movies which are not shown yet in the cinema at a very cheap price. Pirated software, pirated DVDs & CDs etc. Piracy is a huge problem in Malaysia but the government does not take a serious action against it. How sad isn' it???

Try www.hmv.co.uk

It has many offers on DVDs. I have seen the movie "Gladiator: Special Edition" only for 6.00 UK Pounds.

Good luck

i agree with nurfarizah. :P
another way would be, borrow dvds from everyone that has one and make your own copies.
