Well, a lot of training and prep hikes to many other Mountains first, through this process you should meet experts and eventually people who have done it. Actually there is a documentary about it, it would be a good idea to see what your in for. Once you start meeting experts you can eventually get on a team that is prepping to go. I can't remeber the name of the documentary and it is bugging me, goe to REI or any hike shop they'll have it or know what it is called. I watched it on the discovery channel. It was tough, a worthy challenge for those who need it.
