Sadly I think he should be completely banned from professional soccer.
If this video was shown in a court of law the "man" would be jailed.
There is no place or excuse for this in the "beautiful game"

Banned for life.What he did was premeditated and the ball was nowhere near when he hit the player. He has a bit of history as well which is most unfortunate as so many people in the game say what a nice guy he is off the pitch. It was such a bad attack that not one person has come forward to defend him. He is lucky he is not facing a possible jail sentence.

The mans a psycho, and he should be banned from competative football. Anyone who goes out to deliberately injure another player as he did cannot be right in the head

Put him on the bench in the reserves games but do not let him play until he has learnt his lesson, or,Keep him on the bench of the senior squad, but, again do not let him participate in any games of Football, for how ever long it takes.
