i think ohio state will because of our talent on offense and the fact that UT's QB is very inexperinced

ohio state will win. the offense is too good. with brown missing the game at cornerback, texas will have to keep more people in the secondary to help cover the great osu wide receivers(ginn is not the only one). so that will open up the running game for pittman, wells and wells. all three running backs are really good and the offensive line is huge(they average 6'7" and over 320 pounds). of course you cant forget about future heisman winner troy smith at qb. this is the best offense we have ever had ohio state.
i admit texas has a really good team but the inexperience at qb will hurt. this isnt the north texas defense he faced last week.
GO BUCKS!!!!
about the michigan coments from some of the other people.
michigan is also a good team but under jim tressel the bucks are 4-1 against michigan and remember they are playing in columbus this year. it will be a high scoring game with niether defense being able to stop the other offense. but in the end, it will just be another win for the buckeyes on their way to a national championship.

First, and I'm just curious, is Yahoo Answers a class at the Ohio State?
Texas by 2 touchdowns.
You couldn't beat us in the shoe last year, you don't sniff us in Austin.
Colt McCoy proved last week that he can hold on to the ball and let the running game and the defense win games.
Ohio State's defense proved last week that they can't stop the running game, even against Northern Illinois.
It's still summertime in Austin. Jamaal Charles runs all over your defense and your offense melts in the heat.
Hook'em !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I-35 North should be pretty wide open around halftime so you shouldn't hit much traffic on the way out of my state.

OSU, this is just like last years game only opposite. You had Vince Young going against a team with 2 potential starting qb's and Vince dominated. Now we have Troy Smith, who by the way is twice the passer Vince was and every bit the runner, and has the same will to win. Buckeyes will win by a fourth quarter drive by Troy Smith, Teddy Ginn will have about 3 TDs with Terrell Brown out and they wont stop Chris Wells and Tony Pittman on the ground.

Have to give the Nod to OSU in this game, UT is a good team but who knows how good or how bad they really are this year with a victory over North Texas 2-7 last year and they play in the sun belt conference. OSU had a first opponent that at least had a winning record last year, and even though NIU plays in the Mac it as a conference is light years ahead of the sun belt.

to correct the mis-informed:
Texas starting cornerback Tarell Brown and backup linebacker and special teams player Tyrell Gatewood were suspended for Saturday's game against No. 1 Ohio State after their arrest on misdemeanor charges.
They are good players and the loss of them for this game will hurt...but not much
The Longhorns are 4-0 in No. 1 against No. 2 games, the latest coming last season when they beat USC in the Rose Bowl for the national title as the second-ranked team.
Ohio State is 2-0 in 1-2 games, the last coming in the 2002 Fiesta Bowl. The No. 2 Buckeyes beat top-ranked Miami in that game to win their last national title.
Really, the Buckeyes are a notch ahead of the Longhorns in the polls for only one reason. Both teams have lots of good players back, but Texas' quarterback is gone and Ohio State's is back.
Come late Saturday night, one team will be revising its goals and the other will be on the fast track to the title game on Jan. 8, 2007, in Glendale, Ariz.
I pick Texas in the upset...Hook'em Horns!

ohio state will probably win this week. but, as a michigan fan, osu doesn't fare well as an undefeated team vs michigan. their record in that situation is something like 13-35-4. michigan more often than not ruins their perfect season. on the contrary, as a Big10 fan, i hope osu wins this saturday.

I'm way more focused on beating Micigan on the last game game in Columbus. Texas will be a good game..they beat us last year with that team they have..but this year will be different.
I'm smelling the Rose Bowl!
If I remember we only lost to Texas by 2 points last year..it was a very close game

Ohio State by ten points! Why? Because I've been saying it for weeks.
Time to erase any doubts about The Ohio State University's ranking!!

Ohio St. will win, Texas just lost there best linebacker for getting busted with weed and a gun. And I'm a Michigan fan and would love for OSU to be undefeated when UofM beats them:)
