Voldemort will be vanquished, but I don't know if that means he will be killed by Harry. Maybe all Harry has to do is cause his demise for it to count. We've already seen (in Goblet of Fire) a character get his soul sucked out. Hermione said that was worse than death in Prisoner of Azkaban. Dumbledore has also said that there are worse things than death. Maybe we'll see him suffer some worse fate. According to the prophesy, one can't live while the other survives. So, hopefully Harry will live if Voldemort doesn't survive.
I've thought that Draco would turn to the Order for protection and would be helpful to Harry in some important way since I read Half-Blood Prince. So, I don't think that he'll die. I think he'll be an example that will show that people can change.
Harry doesn't have to be killed off in his battle with Voldemort so that other writers don't create other stories about him. J.K. Rowling has said that she will write epilogues for the characters that survive. That could include Harry becoming an Auror, marrying Ginny, and having lots of little red haired and green eyed children before dying a happy old man...or something like that.

Oh wow, I've been speculating about this for months and months! Everyone knows Voldemort will die, but I've always thought it would be such a dramatic way to end the series if both he and Harry killed each other at the same time. Don't get me wrong--Harry is my favorite character in the series, but remember how in Book 5 the Prophecy stated that, "Neither can live while the other survives"? Since the Prophecy never specified who WOULD win--only that Harry COULD win--it would be so powerful to have them vanquish each other.
Ah, I just got myself worked up and I need some water.

I think Draco Malfoy's dad will die by the hands of Harry Potter. Therefore Draco will kill Harry probably right after harry has killed Voldemort. But I also think that somehow Harry Potter's soul will somehow get into another person or animal or something so he wont be dead but just in another body.

Rowling has stated that she does not plan to write any more Potter fiction after the seventh book. This is a very, very popular series, and the woman would likely be hounded by fans desperate for more Harry Potter. Combine that with Harry's link to Voldemort, and I think it's very possible that Rowling will kill Harry off.
I doubt that Hermione will die; I personally think that Hermione is a 'Mary Sue' character for J.K. Rowling herself, and therefore killing her would be symbolic suicide.
I doubt that Ron will die. Ron's death would be a classic 'Mercutio', and I do not think that Rowling will be quite that predictable.
I think Draco will live. I suspect he will redeem himself (to some degree, at least) in the last book.
I don't think Rowling is even considering not killing Voldemort. Leaving him alive would dissatisfy her fans to the point of rioting.

Harry Potter would die but it may be a mysterious death which may not be too obvious in the book or the movie. Knowing JK Rowling, she may make her readers guess if he really died or not. It would also give a reason to resurrect the character if there is a cry for the Harry Potter series to carry on.

i have a very distinct feeling that both harry potter and voldemort will die in the last book. Their fates are tied to each other. One couldn't survivie without the other being dead.

Harry will die because J.K. Rowling is retireing and she does not want someone else to pick up where she left off.
