Please don't recommend me commedies because I don't like american humour. It's childish.
What about Europeans movie? Do you recommend me any? I like movies from Sweeden and France. If you know any good give me the title of the movie in English.

My favorite movie? Life of Brian (Monty Python) Every single line in the movie is a pure diamond in terms of wit and relevance to social criticism.
But to answer your question: You need to ask yourself what you would like to get from the movie watching experience: Do you want to be simply entertained? Do you want to learn? Be emotionally stirred? Does the movie have to have a message or advance a political or social topic?
Each category, each field has many movies (I was a Student at the AFI and there are countless movies made by Hollywood, Independent movie makers, other countries) some folks like to go by pre determined lists like the AFI list for the 100 most important movies. Some folks hate those lists. Film can be a passion and it is a passion of mine. It is an art form and has many colors and room for all tastes.
So I rather not recommend you one movie to watch since I don't know you but rather point you to either the Internet Movie Data base (look for www.imdb.com) and simply search for genre or keywords that interest you.
Movies even more as music or pictures can stir emotions and imagination so my best recommendation is: Keep watching movies...all kinds of movies...You bound to find one you will say: "Now this is MY favorite Movie"

i love lord of the rings triology. there are a couple of french movies that i enjoy - 8 Women (a funny yet exciting murder film) and Amelie and The Last Engagement (the wonderful Audrey Tatou stars in both). I heard the movie triology Red, White and Blue (three french movies based on the flag France) are good too though I haven't watched before.
