To me it makes no difference whether it was Erwin or any other person who dies under strange or unnecessary circumstances. My heart goes out to ANY family who has to go through the death of a loved one. Especially when there are children involved. Any child that has lost a parent deserves our sympathy and our prayers.
I feel just as badly if not worse when I hear that a child has died in the heat from being left in a car, or when some sick monster molests and kills a child, or when a rapist rapes and then kills his victim.
I'm sorry but Erwin being the Crocodile Hunter does not make him any better or any worse then any of these other people who have died under abnormal circumstances.
My heart bleeds more when it is an innocent child.

you know what's the most sad thing about it, the fact that we probably knew before his widow did. my thoughts are also with his family. steve irwin was the type of guy you thinks going to live forever. i respect him for the he had devotion for animals. most of us aussies are deeply saddened by his death.

how heartbreaking is the news.to think he has been in alot more worse situations and something so small and tame has took his life!i really feel for all his family and friends right now and are in my prayers.

no words could describe his passiona nd enthusiasm of his job and work and also his family and ofcourse australia he is a wonderful mate that will be sadly missed
