In a country like L.A ,,,,....!!! What would u prefer??- Own car or METRO..???

HATED that place -- and I MEAN HATED it -- too many cars, too dirty, too expensive, too high cost of living, just a horrible place (and I was only there a short time due to Military Duty -- and VERY glad we get trasferred on a regular basis). I used my motorcycle most of the time (even though very dangerous) -- traffic was standstill, very rude and out of control drivers, horrible road system, non-existent Metro Transportation (I grew up in Chicago -- so I KNOW how Metro SHOULD be -- and used it extensively).

L.A. isn't a country that would be a city and I would still want my own car because I need to be able to leave whenever I want I don't like being at the mercie of someone else, not only that in the middle of the night your own vehilce is safer!

I prefer car, because I prefer not do depend on anything or anyone.

But, probably would start to use metro after few days, when I realize that it is faster, cheaper, with less nervous and that I wont late if I start early enough.

in USA, you need a car in order to survive and get to places. I would rather not move to LA! I prefer san franscisco
