"It is said Alanis is in between intense writing sessions for her 2007 upcoming studio album, and she is going to spend the rest of the year working on a memoir. About her book, she says "it will be all the wisdom I've accrued in the thirty-one years of my life (...) A lot about relationships, fame, travel, body-image issues, spirit -- with a lot of self-deprecating humor peppered throughout, 'cause I just can't help it."

Last I heard she was getting back together with actor Ryan Reynolds after a short break (she's so lucky, he's the gorgeous
guy from 'The Notebook'). She's working on a new album, I guess, but she's never really been a huge media fixture or anything.

I read an interview the other day. She is getting or got married. No children, still writing and soon to be touring. She didn't want to be known as a man hater

She's joined a hippy commune and is travelling around Scotland in a clapped out old VW Camper van with Elvis... So I'm told...

If you have one hit album you can pretty much live like a king in todays music world. She doesn't need to work and hasn't for a while.

She is still recording,but I don't think she has an album due anytime soon.She also dabbles in acting.
