In the Brit Horror "Dog Soldiers" was Megan a Werewolf all along or did she turn during the film?

She was a werewolf the whole time. She had been studying the werewolf family as a reporter, then she was turned. She rescued the soldiers in the hopes they would kill the family, and thus keep her from turning again.
