Sometimes electricity trips cause a sudden jump of current running through. Which will turn on electric applicances, with a sudden surge. Especially those applicances that is still connected to the raw power point.

It could be because the metal wires in the electric kettle wires were severed (maybe due to poor quality) and the kettle had been working because the wires were in contact but then that day, the wires could have be not in contact so the kettle got switched offf.

You don't mean the switch got off do you?
If you do, then maybe someone (and when i mean someone, i mean physical) switched it off. Or maybe, the switch was lose and then it just flipped back off. Or maybe the electric kettle is programmed to be like that. My electric kettle switches off when the water has boiled.

Cheers!

It happened because you were tired of having beers and needed a hot coffee very badly. You switched the kettle on and then dozed off.

When you get up in the morning you thought wow, this is a miracle.

How funny I am :)

You think you're the only one who needs a drink ?
Most probably 'someone' as trying to make a hot beverage.

Spirits needs a hot cup coffee occasionally too.

Cheers.
