i never usd to believe in hebal medsandacupuncture but then i got a job in a chinese medical centre and believe me they work! well i never took herbsbut the acupuntcue was fab! it helps with everything!!! if i had period pains, some seeds in the ear done the trick and some of the cases like people who have had ivf and not concieved in a few months of acupunture and daily hebs theyconcieved! i would always recommend try before you makeudgmen, you never know it could help you

Hi everyone!

First, some of you say that Homeopathy has been around for thousands of years… Well it’s partly true :
As Elaine Cairney says it so well in ‘’The Roots of Homeopathy’’ : « The great physician Hippocrates first taught that there were two ways of treating a patient. Either one could cure by 'contraries', or by 'similarities'. That is, one could either give medication to counteract symptoms (the law of contraries) or medication which had the ability to produce the same symptoms as those suffered by the ill person (the law of similars). » It is only in 1790 that Hahnemann further developped this laws of similars into the Homeopathy we know today.
Some of you question and others reject the notion that Homeopathy works. Well, when in doubt ask a Homeopath :
We Homeopaths go through rigourous studies (4 years) and training before we can call ourselves Homeopaths. Some parts of the world recognize Homeopathy as a form of treatment, others, as in Quebec where I come from, reject or simply tolerate its practice. But more and more people agree that it works!
I can tell you that it works! I have treated numerous patients, babies, young children, adults, even dogs and cats and when the right remedy is found, it works!
You have to keep in mind that Homeopathy treats the WHOLE person and not only the disease as conventional medecine does. For instance, take a Cold : Everybody reacts in their own way to a cold. Although the main symptoms will be common to all, some of us will whine and search for comfort while others will search for solitude and others again will be angry and impatient at the way their bodies react to the disease… Well, there is a different homeopathic remedy for each of them. The ones in need of comfort will get Pulsatilla or Calcarea or Phosphorus, the ones in search for solitude could get Natrum Muriaticum or Bryonia and then again, the ones angry at their own reaction will be given Chamomilla or Nux Vomica … This is just an example but in real life it works the same way, we have over 2,500 different remedies to choose from. We treat the person in its entirety, body, mind and soul (yes the soul also). It is nothing esoteric, only good old listening to the patient, taking the time and going just a bit further than the plain symptoms of one’s disease.
To cure, the remedy has to fit your whole personal picture, like pieces of a puzzle that cannot be interchanged. If you do not have the right remedy, you do not have a cure! It’s as simple as that!
Oh, I almost forgot… For those of you thinking placebo effect, meditate on this : Animals do not give a hoot about what you’ve given to them and still get cured on Homeopathy, so do newborns and small babies. And if you still think placebo, well if it cures, leaves no side effects and is entirely natural… So what!!! I certainly would not mind, and my patients neither!!! As for the money… I and many other Homeopaths take on non-paying patients…

Yes it does. It hasn't been used for thousands of years - only a couple of centuries - but it was developed using very scientific methods and has been very well researched and documented.

Conventional science has not figured out how it works. That is science's problem, not homeopathy's. But there is no doubt that it does. I have been using it for 20 years with my family and friends. I am not a professional - just a well-trained amateur.

There are many areas where homeopathy is wonderful. It's pure magic for teething pains in infants for example. It's great for dealing with colds and flus and fevers - much quicker healing than lemsip etc.

With serious illness it will still work. Occasionally it can seem like a miracle cure. Most of the time it won't be. Deep illness generally takes time and homeopathy is only a support to the body's own abilities. Long-term illness requires long-term healing as a rule.

Thre's lots of good self-help books for using it for simple home-cure stuff. For something serious or long-term, find an experienced homeopath. There are lots of them.

I have had some of it work for me. I know there are some companies that make better products than others. Germany has been making products for many years. You can look for medications made by Bach they are famous for Rescue Remedy. There is also a company called BHI and Heel they make good products as well. I am sure there are other good companies, but I tend to use these products the most because I have had the most success with them. Look for companies that make the highest quality products. Homeopathy is not a new treatment. It has been used outside of the united states for a very long time. If you are going to use it just do your research.

Logic tells me that it should not work but when I see homoeopathy working on animals and small children who have no preconception that it should make them better I find that I cannot dismiss the possibility that homoeopathy can be effective.

Homeopathy Works that cannot be denied by any intelligent being anyone who has used these miracle remedies will vouch for them that they do work and they even work where all other forms of medication fails I have seen Hepatitis and TB patients who were considered uncurable by conventional doctors walk away totally cured by Homeopathic Medicine. To Non Believers I have just one question ! Does Conventional Medicine has a Medicine to bring out any one out of a Coma ? Ask all Doctors they dont have anything for it :-) .

confident THERE ARE treatments. the only concern is they simply treatment FOR THE SPAN OF THE DRUG IN HOURS. I suppose you know that before pharmaceutical companies existed, the inner bark of the willow tree was used as a pain killer. Wouldn't you know it....the active ingredient is the same as aspirin....acetylsalicylic acid. Big drug companies have just put things in a neater package, not every solution came from a natural source, but many did, and there are many more that are becoming more and more accepted and mainstream today.
Anyone that refutes the value of homeopathy, either owns pharma stock or is simply a fool.

I have used homeopathic with good success. I've particularly seen great results using it on injured animals, where I don't have or am less inclined to grab a bottle of "medicine." Modern pharmacology did evolve from "natural medicine." There's no question about it, although homeopathic medicine is a bit different in it's like treating like (at minute doses) philosophy. However, if I had cancer, I think I'd agree to chemo. :)
