Probably the same as the American dream to have enough money to take care of your family, own a home and have a little extra for emergencies and retirement..

Are not some/most of the dreams the same the world over? Personal wealth, social status, cleanliness, a balanced diet, to have a purpose in this world, to be happy, to have peace and safety, to be loved and needed, to have power, good health, an education, a passport with American Citizen written on it?
Our dreams are always to have what we do not have. Or we dream to keep what we already have.
To someone in a war torn, famine plagued country, a bath, clean water, some food, and someone not sticking a rifle in your face is the dream.
To me, in America, not having to work for a living, to retire early, to have enough finances to be comfortable and help out some friends who are struggling. And while I am asking, I've always wanted to be able to sing really well.
