When the planes crashed into the towers, many of the victims above the fire were trapped and had hoped to be rescued.

In spite of all efforts to try and save them, they were not successful as the towers subsequently collapsed.

The question I wanted to ask is, if the rescuers had enough time, would they be able to reached the victims later? Or were the victims doomed from the beginning because of the fire?

I guess if were are dealing in hypothetical, everyone who worked in the towers and the people on the planes were DOOMED that day. The people who made it out alive were meant to still be on this earth. I know this answer seems weird, but we can't think about stuff like this question, because we will never know.

It was POSSIBLE for people to be rescued from ABOVE the fire, if the towers had not collapsed, but it would have taken some time that sadly they never got.

wanna really blow your mind? I watched two videos in google, and couldn't believe what I was watching. Its about the alleged cover up of 9/11. If that stuff is true, it will answer the question you just posted. this is in no way advertising for google, that is just where I happened to click one day and found those videos. I watched with my eyes wide open and my jaw dropped!!! so will you and anyone else who watches them. Frightening!
