Its so hard to change people when they used to be that way. Here are some tips:
- JUst be yourself. Dont try to hardly impress them, it will just jeopardize the situation.
- Always smile. If you can't get along with the conversation then appear as a good listener and just smile sincerely.
- Just go with the flow. When you're ask you have to answer.
- And start talking with close friends, colleagues and practice building your communication skills. Try to be a good conversationalist.
- Be confident. Its not good to be too shy and that wont really flatter them. Try to get along a possible. Express what you know and dont think of what others might say.

The best way to overcome shyness is to get interested in other people. When you can focus on other people, you take your focus off of yourself, making yourself feel more comfortable and the other person will appreciate your interest too.

You don't look shy, but you could do more talking, ask questions, listen, just try to be more aggressive if you can. Dress eye catching, and try to get over your shyness. If you don't you won't ever do much, so it is time to change.

I suppose you mean how do you make people express their love to you! Many people love you, people you know and many others! Most of people do not show their feelings, especially to people who do not make moves!
If you want to explore the feeling of others, you should communicate with them; there might be "mistakes" but: so what? We will be wiser! To elevate our understanding we do make mistakes!
