100% right they do. Only difference is it's more gradual than women's transition - but symptoms are virtuaally identical.

Men become more moody, more depressed, sad, less confident, less focused, etc etc. They lose most of their DESIRE for sex, and even if desire remains, it becomes much harder to fulfill their lust. Erections falter, semen comes out less, and feeble propulsion, too. Men gain weight, become paunchy, sort-of, walk slower, and feel weaker generally, They sleep not as well, an lose their former vitality , bigtime. Hight blood pressure and blood sugar often worsen. Heart , lungs & respiratory weaken. Have I made things clearer?????

Hi Taurus,

Oh yes men do too! It is not menopause per se, since the way men act / react will differ from women who are in menopause, but that doesn't mean men don't go through a similar mid-life crisis.

In french (I am Quebecois, not from France) there's a term called "Le Demon Du Midi", which translates directly as "The Noon Demon"... this means absolutly nothing in English, but in French, it is the expression we use to describe when men are going through their own masculine menopause, also known as mid-life crisis.

Often, when men reach their 40s (or so) they begin to realise they are not getting any younger and that there is no turning back time, so they become more "youth"-obsessed; they start buyimg faster sportscars, they flirt with younger women, etc... Not all men react the same way and not all men go through the same "rites" or "rituals", but all men eventually go though the male menopause.

Some lasts a few weeks, others endure it for years... well at least, their spouses endure them for years!

Ask your doctor about it and see what he/she has to say about this.

Yes, actually, they do. It is the "male menopause, " but is most often called Mid-Life Crisis. During the Mid-Life Crisis, the man in question will first go through a period of asking questions about his life, for example: "Did I do everything that I wanted to do?," or "Am I REALLY happy?" Although rare, some men do not go through this stage of life. But the next thing they will do is try to correct anything that they thought went wrong, for example: getting that brand new sports car they have dreamed of having. But yes, men do go througha "male menopause" and dont let anyone tell you differently. :)

men do not get menopause. They are fit till the last hour of life. An young ortyhedox islamic men/ boy get erection even when he sees a women. Bcoz. he has never seen a women in his life time as all the women in his society are covered with Budkas. A normal young man gets may not get erected just by seeing a women. He may be by seeing an women with a dress exposing hers. A Man in his 40s maynot be much aroused on seeing a bf. As he as seen and experienced much of it. Likewise, although a man is fit for sex at any age of his life, his point of erection may be a longer. Elderly men at their 70s also are fit and they don's come across any menopause as their female coutnerpart does. But they need much activity for erection. Once they are at their erection, all men are same for coitus. Perhaps the erected size of **** may differ.

Childbearing became into extremely significant among royalty and ladies have been seen unlikely to have a newborn after 35, besides the fact that it did take place. many ladies lived long lives and that i think of went by menopause. you should bear in techniques that folk died youthful because of the fact of illnesses that are actually curable. ladies have little ones at a later age now because of the fact of technologies. I study that Sandra Bullock has achieved each thing available to conceive, besides as Demi Moore. i admire Sandra, yet she's 40 5. Demi is around that age. i've got wide-unfold human beings to pass by menopause at 35 and 50. i do no longer think of ladies's bodies have stronger that lots in this sort of short (evolutionary) time span.

I think no. Their vitality remains more or less the same. Only thing that weakens them is the proficiency of the spouse who is getting menopause. Actually the vitality remains in the head and the sexual activities he performs. A dorment sexual life may hasten up the loss of vitality and fertility. Usually ladies become passive to sex after the so called menopause prompting the male to follow suit. No alternative but to succumb to.
