Unfortunately twitching is very common and has no harmful effects (although if it's very very frequent, you may want to see an optometrist to make sure). It's just spasms in your eye, and you can get spasms randomly on any part of your body.
It doesn't matter which one you wear, you can't really do much about the twitching.
Below is also a source about eye twitching. It may help with some suggestions, but the cause for eye twitching is unknown.

You cant. I believe you may have a benign fasciculation.
I had the same thing for a long time. It went away just as my neurologist said it would. Lots of people have that happen to them. It's nothing to worry about, but you had better tell your doctor about it just in case.

I have the same problem.I got scared i¸m gonna have to wear glasses.It might be stress though.
