It really sucks. Take it from me. I went into preterm labor at 31 weeks. They stopped it at the hospital and I had to stay on meds until 36 weeks to make sure I would not go into labor again. All the while, I had CONTRACTIONS on a regular basis (sometimes every 15-20 min) for the whole time until I gave birth at week 37 1/2. In other words, I had the pain of contractions for 6 1/2 weeks. Talk about labor pains! But on the bright side, when I finally gave birth, it was a piece of cake compared to everything else I had already gone through! And I had a beautiful healthy baby boy! Good luck!

My sister just had her baby two weeks ago. She was in the hospital when they were about 5 or 6 minutes apart. While in the hospital, the contractions slowed down. It was just waiting from there on. She came in at 6am and gave birth at 5pm. I suggest you do wait a little more. If your pain is increasing, just go in. Congrats!!

You better get off the PC and get ready to get your behind to the hospital. Go now, because a lot of babies are born at home or the car cause the doc said to wait.
Baby is ready, baby is coming!!!!!!!!
BTW, congratulations......

Congratulations! Try walking around, it might speed things up! Take a shower to try to ease the pain, it helped me.
