I think a fastball would be number one, but I need to know other pitches.

One finger was a fastball, two was a curve, three was a slider. four was a changeup or knuckleball. Any of those signs with fingers wiggling meant to take a little more off of it. With a runner on second base, the signs always came after an indicator sign so that the runner could not tip off the batter. If the runner ever did try to tip off the batter, then his buddy at bat usually saw some "chin music".

1 is always fastball then you want to go with there next best pitch as 2 whether it be a curve ball or slider or changeup. I always go by what there strength is unless your catching alot of pitchers and then you just go with a universal system for everyone.

1 is my fastball and i point in the direction i want him to throw it, 2 was curve i have him pitch it straight in, 3 change up,

i tell my pitvher breaking ball is #2, slider #3 and changeup# 4
