It's not a matter of time, it's a matter of length. Once your beard is about thee quarters of an inch long, it will be past the stage where it itches. I used to have a friend who would grow it for a week, sometimes two, and then shave it off because it itched too much. He did this over and over again. Now that I'm older and have grown a beard, I would give him this advice: "Tough it out, quit shaving it off. You'll only go through it all over again if you do."

Good luck!

This is my experience. The itching starts after a few days of growth and then stops after about 10 to 12 days. What I've done to lessen the itching is use a facial scrub when I wash my face. The scrub loosens the hairs and the itching is reduced significantly. Good luck.

This may sound stupid but when your in the shower put conditioner (for your hair) in your beard it will make it softer so it won't be so hard and itchy.

It takes longer than three days....it depends on your hair and how clean you keep it. Its been known to last from 1 week to 3 weeks. If itching bothers you just shampoo/wash it with warm/hot water.

If you`re a man it usually stops after about a week, if you`re a woman it could take much longer.
