I was just wondering exactly the same thing, possibly it is laziness but most likely they simply don't know how to use a search engine very well. Though recently I have been having problems finding the infomation I want on google. I find that it has become very specialized.

They want the human contact. Haven't you noticed that for many questions, the asker already knows the answer. Why are you on here if not for the same reason?

some times people want to feel there is some sort of connection out there..you know...another humans wisdom...why do you some times read a book when there is tons of things to read off the internet? humans are not designed to sit and talk to a machine...we are not that cold yet...well some people are...
