Women like men with pets because it show that this guy has a soft spot, and women like to know that. Also it shows that he is caring and that he will care end up doing the same for you.

Hi Eric, 1 reason is it shows that the man is a kind and loving man.Also, Most women love some kind of pet.I would be more interested in a man walking his dog,Than a man just out for a man.I guess thats how natural works.

Personally, the fact that a guy has a dog doesn't make me anymore interested in HIM; I'm looking his way for the DOG, not him.
But, in the case of women who do like men with pets...maybe it's because they see it as a sign that the guy has a big enough sense of sensitivity, responsibility, and compassion to willingly care for another creature, so that must be a turn-on because they think they'll recieve the same treatment if they're with him.
But before you get any ideas, getting a dog in order to get chicks is one bad idea. You would think a guy would want a girl to like him for himself, not for what he owns.

If I really like a guy, I expect him to treat me as well as he treats his dog/horse/bird/kids. Sometimes I end up liking the pet more than I like the guy! I'm an animal fanatic and I find a guy who includes me with his pets' activities a very atrractive man indeed :-D .

Because it's really cute and homier as well as more down to earth, it feels like he is really human and cares about another life, it's just very nice, I think a guy with a pet is sweet and hip.

because it makes them look like they arent afraid of commitment. some women figure a man that can commit to loving and caring for a pet can do the same with a woman. of course its not really true.

For example, I love cats & so does my boyfriend. So we kindda share the same interest. & its fun.
