i mean the girl is only 18 yrs old and the guy is at his mid50's.. you think their relationship will work?

Its up to them....I am waiting for someone to tell me what is the perfect marriage...what works and what doesn't.
If two people like being with each other, why would anyone want to discourage that relationship...that love for one another...
Will it work...? Who knows....

LOL I thought you meant me. Three times my age is 105, so I was going to say no.
Depends what you mean by the relationship working. I think they're unlikely to stay together for the rest of their lives, but I don't think most 18yo's OR mid50s men are looking for a life partner (especially if he has teen or adult children). They can have some good months or years and then move on, as most young adults and most post-divorce 50yos do.

It is possible, yes. Is is likely to work out, no. Is it likely that there are some other, possibly unhealthy psychological influences in this relationship, yes. But as long as both people are adults, it is their choice.
