My husband did. We have 2 Siberian Huskies. One has rather short legs and continuously carries around a few extra pounds. When he wrestles with her, she makes this snapping sound with her teeth, like she is trying to bite him, although she never does. So her nickname is croccopotamus - crocc because she sounds like a crocodile snapping its teeth and potamus for hippopotamus, because she's a bit on the chubby side.

Although I've heard this word before, I hadn't ever heard it when I said it about 13 yrs ago. It's stumpy. I was trying to say dummy and stupid together. I don't know what it means when other people have used it, but that was my meaning of it. And my cousin once said that her bra was discombooberated. I think it was crooked or something. Ha Ha Ha.

Kempfing= (v.) stealing a lighter without meaning to. Derived from the Kempf siblings who always seemed to wind up with everyone's lighters in college, by "accident." Ex. Dude, someone totally kempfed my lighter last nite, can I borrow yours?

never made up a word but in 8th grade i wanted to be cool and start a clothing trend. i started putting bandaids on my geans and hoped that others would see it and like it and copy me. needless to say, that never happened, so i gave up that fashion don't.

Yes " JARRE " it's afrikaans! It replaces the word "F*cking" in a sentence. It's a jarre nice girl, etc.

No, but my mom did. She'd say people who had consumed far too much alcohol had brains that were, "ossified." I thought it was hysterically funny. Mom didn't drink at all.
