As much as there are myths about pork, pork is considered to be the other white meat. Pork is not as popular as the other three because it has a lot of trans fats; or saturated fats. But it's very tasty. Even too much beef is not very good for your heart as it's a good source of cholesterol. Skinless chicken and fish is good and more healthy. But be careful of fish it might contain mercury. Chicken too, sometimes, is treated with a lot of chemicals.

If pork is raised in sanitary conditions and cooked for the appropriate length of time, it is just as healthy as any beef, chicken or fish.
Typically if pork is cooked on a stovetop on a high flame for about seven minutes, until it is no longer pink inside, it is safe.
Modern pork is fairly low in fat content, so it can actually be a healthy alternative.
There are prohibitions in the Old Testament of the Bible against eating pork, but they are part of over seven hundred laws which were added to the Bible during the Babylonian exile, and are only obeyed by devout Jews. These include prohibitions on shellfish, but allow the consumption of locusts. So take your pick!

Having been on a farm...
I can tell you that chickens are the most disgusting animals that are commonly eaten in the world...
Pigs and Cows come nowhere even close.
Personally I do not really like the taste of Pork...
The myth of pork being dirty comes from ancient times when animals with a 'cleaved' hoof... like a pig, would have Tricanosis if not cooked enough, and would make people sick...
So they got thought of as dirty...

Do some research on the health problems related to pork.... More than beef or chicken, even when we pump all three with toxins.
Funny, how do you think the ancient Hebrews figured that out? ;-) Hmm... Maybe God told them.
Fish? That's a little generic, kinda like saying "meat from things that breath air is healthy or unhealthy" LOL

Pork got it's bad reputation in ancient times, when there was no refrigeration, few methods of preserving meats, and not very efficient means to cook it.. Pigs carried a disease in their muscles, trichinosis, that made the infected person sicken and die. Certain religions believe that pork is "unclean". I t used to be. Now, we have refrigeration, and know to cook pork well done. It is not dangerous to eat it anymore. Now it had the reputation of being unhealthy, too much fat. But now Dieticians are telling us we have to have some fat in our diets, and pork is OK to eat.
And the same for shellfish, they spoil easily, and can carry disease if not cooked properly. And the same reason we can eat it now, refrigeration, and knowlege on how to cook it correctly.

I don't like the WAY you asked the question as it seems that you are asking for a confirmation of how YOU feel about it. It is like you are trying to point out in a sarcastic way something you yourself feel. You need to ask genuine questions not make statements by questions. If you have to ask ---ask it in a proper way try something like : Do you think pork is healthy to eat?

because pigs eat and sleep in their own filth. remember the saying ," you are what you eat" and "home is where the heart is". so eating pork is like eating filth.don't get me wrong, that's just how i think of it. no disrespect to all who eat pork.
