I think she's a fabulous singer. Now as far as her look goes, yes, I think she's trying to channel Marilyn. Maybe she's hoping she'll be considered to play Marilyn some day. Unless she plans on gaining a bunch of weight (I think Marilyn was like a size 10/12) then I don't see it happening.

With a voice like that, she has nothing to prove. She can be what she wants, look like she wants and wear what she wants because it can't take away the fact the girl has a wicked voice.
She craps all over Brittney, Jessica etc and any of those other girls. In fact, those two are wannabe's, not Christina!

i agree too but maybe she jus likes the hair style i mean jus because marilyn monroe use to always wear it doesnt mean its only her hair due to wear only its like sayin ppl who wear pony tails are wannabes of those who 1st wore a pony tail..plus u never know if marilyn monroe was a "wannabe" once mayb she saw sum1 wear it on her years n decided to wear all the time like christina and sum1 like u said the same thing...

Definitely! She is such a poser and always has a role shes trying to play. like she was a bada.s.s. homie a few years ago and now shes jazzy and "elegant", shes so lame and calculated and her voice irritates me too
