This is the first time I got an "almost brazilian" where she actually did the labia, which was very very sensitive. Well for like, three days it stung, every time I would wipe after peeing (sorry to be graphic) and walking sometimes even hurt (in a stinging kind of way). Is this normal? Also, there were very tiny tiny white bumps just on the labia part, not on the rest of where she waxed, that went away also after a few days. I don't know if I want to continue the labia part cause it hurt... but it is much nicer than having to shave all the time!!! Thanks ladies

hopefully you will get better answers than mine & you are BRAVE!!! I just go for the "normal" waxing early beach season and I always get bumps both red inflamed areas & whiteheads. I have always just thought what had been hair folicles got angry & any junk under my skin rose up & became whiteheads. I have very sensitive skin.. so I have the same extended sting on any area that is waxed. and I believe you worded this as tactfuly as could possibly be worded given the nature of the question

i've been doing brazillian for a while now and talking to my gf who also do it depends on 2 things - where you go to get it done and how sensitve your skin is; make sure the salon is ultra hygenic and using fresh wax and they use a soothing cream afterwards, consider sugaring which is less aggressive. you can calm the skin afterwards using E45 cream or any creams for the intimate areas (nothing perfumed!) avoid synthetic undies afterwards
you will get used to it - your skin is probably reacting to the shock it happend to me the first few times........
if it hurts while they do it take 2 asprin half an hour before hand it numbs the pain and never go for waxing a few days before your period

Yes I remember those bumps, you can get them when you dry shave or dry wax.
Ask them to put something with a deep mositurising in it. That should calm the sting with little or no bumps. Its just a very sensitive area. So easy does it.
