The position of Judgment in the Final Outcome shows that a balance will be achieved as a result of your hopes for the situation in question. The Sun in the second to last position represents your hopes, which is a card of happiness and symbolizes new beginnings. The cards which are placed nearby relate to the Sun's position and have a bearing on the Final Outcome in the Celtic Cross. The card which preceeds the Sun is representative of the person you may have in mind. The card to the left of the Sun and the card just beneath the Sun, represents the near future. It is difficult to take a couple of cards out of context in a reading, because looking at the entire layout is imperitive in order to understand the underlying question. This probably didn't help much, and I apologize. Without knowing the other surrounding cards it is very hard to be accurate. Take care, Oliver. Have a wonderful weekend. :-)

Generally, the Judgement card means rebirth. The Sun card means success [with a capital S].

To give you a more accurate answer, we need to know the question you asked the cards. We also need to know all of the cards drawn in order. And we also need to know if there were any reversals in the reading.

You can't just read only one card in a Celtic Cross reading to get the meaning. Each card describes a different aspect of the question you askeed.

PS -- Celtic cross is often done on relationship questions or questions about the self. Just some quick info I thought i should add. ^_^

I don't do Tarot readings these days, but I'd say this layout speaks of the accomplishment of some spiritual goal. The Sun speaks of spiritual seeking, and...

"It [The Last Judgement] is the card which registers the accomplishment of the great work of transformation in answer to the summons of the Supernal--which summons is heard from without and within."
The Pictorial Key to the Tarot, Arthur Edward Waite

I'd interpret it as a potent omen of spiritual success.

The the time has come for you to shine! The sun basically means that soon you'll get the attention and admiration that you desire, so judgement...being the final outcome of whatever we do, means that you will soon get the praise that perhaps you or someone else deserves.

This means (I'm a tarot Reader myself) that in order to completely be happy with a certain situation, (depending on what came before) The questioner must first make an important decision and be sure that this is the right decision for him or her.

the judgement card?? that old thing?? don't worry about that...it just signifies that you're not going to heaven, you know, with the whole bearing witness to false profits and all. oh, and the sun card preceding that...that's not quite so simple...not a very easy one to read seeing as how it came up first in the order...hmmmm...lets see...i'm getting something...here it comes....oh! you're a nerd. :)
