Will the Ecclestone reign potentially outlast him if his wife/daughters want to take over his rights, or do his priviliges end with him?

When Bernard Charles Ecclestone passes on, like Jesus Christ, three days after his death he'll arise (from the dead) and continue to be the Formula One ringmaster.
Actually Bernie's Formula One Management (FOM) company only owns 25 percent of the rights nowadays. It's quite complicated and difficult to explain, but Bernie still calls the shots.
A few years ago, Bernie sold 75 percent to Kirsch Media, which went bankrupt, then three banks took over that 75 percent and earlier this year, two of them sold their share to CVC Capital Partners. It's all a bit of a mess.
I suspect someone is already earmarked to eventually take over Bernie's role and names such as Jean Todt and Luca di Monezemolo have been mentioned.
The simple answer to your question, and it's taken me a long time to get to it, is that SLEC, (the SL are for Bernie's wife, Slavica) an Ecclestone family holding company own/control 25 percent of FOM and, presumably will continue to do so when Bernie passes on.

I don't think so. It seems that Ecclestone is no longer the real rights' holder for F1 coverage.

I seem to recall that he bought back the rights to TV coverage for a lot less than what he sold it for and that it was for 99 years or something like that. I assume it would be his company that has all this so it would presumably go to his heirs.
