Are discolored knees and elbows disgusting? I see it so often but a few years ago I got knee and elbow discoloration too! Do you think it's really gross?

Unless you point it out to people they won't even notice.

Try not to think about your faults. Work with your good attributes and that is what people will look at.

Remember, Nobody is perfect.

It's not gross. It's normal for many people, depending on their skin color. If you're a woman of color (Black, Hispanic), chances are your knees or elbows are slightly darker than the rest of your body.

Unless you're white, chances are also that your whole entire body is not one even skin tone either.

It has absolutely nothing to do with your inability to shower, exfoliate, or moisturize your skin. That's plain stupidity.

Are you dark skinned? If so that's pretty normal. If you are light skinned try using a pumis stone or some kind of body brush on your elbows, knees, ankels...and then use a lot of good lotion. Usually this will help. They have bleaching creams too on the market that may help.

I can't stand ashy elbows and knuckles on men. I thinks its uncalled for. But whats gross is when I see some people with pink peeling elbows that look like they should not be exposed. Its makes my skin crawl.

It's not gross but try to scrub, or see a dermatologist for help. I heard lemon helps.

No, that's just a part of being human. Stop being so childish, go get some cleanser to remove dead skin.

I don't think its too bad at all. But then again...it really depends on the color. Try scrubbing away all the dead skin.
