Depending on the University it may be required for students who would be using English as a second language at a school...hence the obvious name. This applies to US and UK schools. When I went through MBA school I didn't have to since English is my primary (and regrettably my only) language.

Good luck.Oh, the scores are valid for only 2 years and then the results are deleted from the database. So once you decide to go for it...go for it.

Most MBA schools require the TOEFL or IELTS to prove proficiency in English. Of course, if your first degree is conducted in english, then that may be exempted. You'll have to check with the school on that.

Good luck with your MBA!
