Why blame the stingray for doing what a stingray does.It wasn't deliberate, like a planned assassination plot. Steve took a lot of risks and he knew what he was getting himself into.

Tragic for Steve. Stingray was only acting on instinct. Hazard of the job, but at least he died doing something he loved. You have to believe in destiny here don't you?
My sympathy to his family. May he rest in peace.

Just a living thing doing what comes naturally to it. Steve Irwin would be the first to champion that fact. Just a freak horrific accident with astronomical odds of ever happening.

Whats the point, its already done the damage. And its an animal, it was only doing what came naturally. It was defending itself. Yes its sad Steve Irwin died that way. But he lived with danger everyday of his life. Everyone in Australia is sad and he will be dearly missed.
