Mel Gibson was really spectacular in the "MAD MAX" sequel, 'ROAD WARRIOR'----and even rocked in "BRAVEHEART"! ( He directed it AND won a BEST DIRECTOR' Oscar Award---) John Travolta is a FINE actor ( why would Quentin Tarantino get the 'GREASE' star for 'PULP FICTION'? ) though he ain't exactly as comparable to Mel Gibson's body of work. Mel Gibson is DEFINITELY better.

Mr John revolta is not a very good actor, if you can even call him that . Mr Gibson is ok but that is it.

I loved "Face Off" with Travolta & "What Women Want" with Gibson...so they're about the same to me.
