Yep, saw the interview with Steve's dad and he wouldn't consider a state funeral.
As for the tape, am so glad, no doubt we will hear rumours of doctored tape but it is great news.
Am sickened by the number of anxious people (mostly Americans) who cant wait to view it.
Let's give the family the privacy they deserve.

As this sort of tragic journey that Steve Irwin's dying is, i think of this is irrelevant that anybody could see that grotesque tape. Thank God that the tape is being destroyed. For one undertaking, he has young ones and a spouse. Why in the worldwide might anybody opt to possibility exposing the sight of a father's dying to a newborn? Lord knows, it would finally end up on the cyber web or in a tabloid image. How might Irwin's spouse clarify that to her babies? i think of that the whole worldwide could basically enable human beings the time to grieve and mourn a kinfolk member and not be so in touch approximately viewing the main factors of dying. this is actual no longer any further than the paparazzi's sort of acquiring pictures of celebrities including Princess Diana and others that have gave up the ghost tragically and gruesomely. it's time to enable the kinfolk have their very own time to mourn Steve of their very own way and we, as a rustic, might mourn him in our own way, yet to opt to be certain the tape of his unexpected dying is basically ill and twisted. fairly is gloomy to be attentive to that there are those that must be curious adequate to opt to bare to their eyes this sort of terrible journey. and that i think of it basically is going to coach that the media capitalizes on those issues in techniques that are basically no longer needed. by making use of the way, outstanding question!!

what kind of sick people want to watch a video of a great man being killed anyway.
its just narrow- minded. he was a brilliant aussie and i'd have thought people would have more respect for him then to go round waiting to see him get killed.
his friend has already said the tape is too harrowing too watch so they are thinking of destroying it.
and also, like a few others, i think we should leave Steves family to decide how best to mourn for him....

I wonder how long it will be before the copies are leaked? Boy I bet the law suits have been already filed over that. some poeple see millions of dollars in that video and are willing to spend half that to get it.
I can't wait to see how that comes out. You know the police has a copy for the police report and the the film team has a copy or two and then the family has a copy.
I really don't think it will be destoryed.

Okay...I'm trying to figure out what your question is.
About the tape...nobody needs to see that, and the people who have seen it surely don't need to see it again. As for the funeral...it's absolutely totally up to the family as to how this man's life is celebrated at it's end. Frankly, it's none of my business, or yours, or anybody else's.

Is there some reason YOU feel duty bound to tell us what we already know? What are you, a reporter wannabe? All rhetorical You have been reported. Frankly, this Irwin stuff is getting really stale.
