Just a little bit, you know. Not like KKK superiority. Just this annoying "little" bit.

No, it's not a racist question. Heck, that would be stupid, since I grew up in the Philippines, and sorta got all that culture and value stuff.

is that an issue now?

well, filipinos are never ethnocentric. if we are, then definitely our country will progress just like the koreans who are really ethnocentric and they really have a very strong sense of nationalism. if we are ethnocentric, definitely we are united and we really patronize our own products but we don't so we are not. if we are ethnocentric then definitely there will be no issue about charter change and we will just be following what the politicians say.

the mere fact that many filipinas want to have foreigners for their bf is a clear manifestation that we are not ethnocentric.

If I had to rank ethnocentric or nationalist groups, specifically in Asia - it would go more like this:

1. Korean.
2. Japanese.
3. Chinese(with aristocractic Chinese being number 1)
4. Singapore(mainly Chinese)

But I think Philipino and Vietnamese and the other SE Asian countries get shafted so much in terms of Asian Groups, I don't think it's a considerable issue at all.

Probably, since ALL ethnic groups are ethnocentric even if they're 4th generation Americans. Young biracial people often struggle to identify with their ethnic heritage. You're in denial if you believe that you're not a little bit ethnocentric yourself.
