Yeah, I'm finding it hard to learn German - I fine with the vocabulary, I seem to have an extensive memory for that, but when it comes to the grammar, I just can't remember what goes where. I mean, there's so many exceptions to the rule! And then talk about irregular and regular verbs. Then they try to teach you the verbs in terms of imperfect, perfect conditional etc., when I barely even know the english equivalents. I just can't wait to be fluent.

How about you?

You didn't tell me which languages you try to study, so how can I give you some advice. Anyway, each language has its problem and you have to know what family it belongs to, which can help you a lot in your studying a new language. If you find hard to learn Grammar, don't waste time on learning it if you are a beginner. Firstly, try to learn to communicate, some basic sentences necessary for daily life, learn some useful new words. Don't force yourself to learn the rules of grammar. You can learn grammar after you know basic sentence.
