I have been trying to attach a file for the last thirty minutes and yet it is not complete. It is pretty urgent

It shouldn't take much time at all. DSL would take less than 10 seconds to upload it. Cable...even less time. Yeah something is wrong with yours. Cancel it and try uploading it again.

are u sure the size is 170kb not 170mb??
since if its taking this long logout since it seems there is some sort of problem with the yahoo uploading server.
or what u do is goto http://www.yousendit.com and upload it there and then sent the link to the person in the email and they can download

It depends on your internet connection's upload speed. Regardless of dialup or broadband, it should be less than a minute.

It shouldn't take that long even with dialup.
Its probally Yahoo! mail it happens all the time
