Steve Irwin had real knowledge.... He raised l awareness about animals and their environment. Timothy Treadwell was a fellow without a clue. Many of his friends and family believe that Tim was haunted by mental illness. (paranoia first and foremost)
The only things the two have in common are: They died doing what they loved to do. Both of their deaths were very tragic.(although for different reasons)

Timothy Treadwell was a little "off". Steve Irwin was not.

I don't even know who Timothy Treadwell is...The whole world knows who Steve Irwin is. I could compare him to Jeff Corwin...I love both of them. They each have their own way of doing things though. Steve was unique with his enthusiasm. I don't now about the Treadwell guy though.

You can't really compare them. Steve Irwin hunted crocodiles. Timothy Treadwell just pitched a tent in the Alaskan Penninsula & lived with bears. Let's face it, Treadwell was a little messed up in the head!! No doubt, both of them died tragically, but I don't think you can compare the two.

Steve did good works. Timothy could have done good works if he had taken medication.

they were both risk takers. they both knew what they're getting into, by interacting with untamed animals.
