Being an Australian, I can tell you that the video footage is currently with the Police for an coronor's inquest into Steve's death and then the tape will most probably be destroyed.

The tape shows the attack, and then Steven pulling the barb from his heart and collapsing.

Watching the video would be witnessing death. I think that shows very little respect to Steve's family and memory as we should cherish who he was and what he stood for, not how his last moments on earth took place.

at last, it rather is going to be released. i do belive, even with the reality that it rather is death, Irwin created plenty for the regular public to alter into in love along with his relatives and morals. Now each and every thing has a beginning up, and an end. Unfortunatly this has a tragic ending, that no one interior the regular public will understand approximately for an particularly long term. i think of the least his relatives can do for the regular public , is to launch it, so we are able to all GREIVE mutually. i understand that not ONE guy or woman could chortle or criticize it.

The video is in the hands of the Australian Govt. The dept. that investigates deaths such as his. It has not been destroyed. But I pray for the families sake it is never made public. No one has a right to see this tragedy. Just knowing how he died should be enough to satisfy the public.

No I dont think so.
I heard them say on the news that there is footage of it but they are worried it might get into the wrong hands because they do not want it shown.
I personally think it would be wrong to show it to the public. He has too many young fans that should not see what happens.

You mean the one on the dangerous sea encounter where he got killed? I think they would release until the part where he got killed. Boy must his death caught on a documentary film be horrid. The producers would probably have destroyed that part of the documentary, burn it, and prevent it from being released to public.
