I guess us Canadians are pretty dumb though, eh? I have noticed some hate from the south coming north, much like how a monkey enjoys tossing his poop into his friends lap... Not living under constant fear, poor social programs, and the political landscape moving towards Unkle Adolfs perfect state of Fascism is very hard on our northern souls. We just play hockey in our socialist valued based state- I can see where we lack , eh? We are just a bunch of hosssers after all... To tell you the truth the only time I hear Americans bashing Canadians is when they go super Canadian on us. I mean your asking for it when you post your flag everywhere and start giving your friends little Canadian flags as if you are trying to borg us. Then go on the tired rant on bashing (the) U.S. you know the important Americans. Other than that it's not much of a love hate relationship, because American's cannot find it in their time to even think about what's up North. Didn't you have a basketball team or two, maybe even a baseball team. I heard you even had a football team then again I could be dreaming after all it's just Canada. Where's my maple syrup, ginger ale, and whose that guy in the red blazer and funny hat riding a moose.
I have plenty of Canadian friends and my Canadian friends have plenty of American ones. I think we have friendly little insult sessions going on like you might have with a good comfortable friend. More like Mid-westerners think of people from idaho, or ohio. Recently a Canadian friend went back to the motherland and thank God because he brought back deodorant which you can't buy in Japan. I find most Canadians cool but then just like in any country you have your jerks.
The ones ready to beat your head with the proverbial hockey stick. Saying I am not American I am Clearly Canadian, eeh. When yes you live in North American just like Mexico, and don't forget Central and South America and are technically Americans. I never called you a hoisser after all that's slang reserved for Indiana people. Like Cheese heads are for Wisconsin people. And to get really cruel FIB's are for us Illinois residents.
If you can't understand our relationship because of too much inbreeding go to this site for enlightment. Inbreeding comment just a jib but I see that I should be very clear on that with you. Be sure to read the last comment on the list. Then take a vacation nothing like actually meeting some real "Americans." Now shut up Degrassi High is on and really want to watch!

I never hear people bashing Canadians. I'm sure you all are very nice people, generally speaking. But you are not a big world power, don't really have anything controversial going on that I know of. The only thing I do know is that you have Universal healthcare, yet it is so bad that Canadians come to America to have their medical needs met. Don't know anything about your new Prime Minister, but he's got to be better than the last one!

Personally, I would never associate American influence with a monkey tossing poo, but, what the heck. We are different and the same and perhaps moving in a ideologically similar direction.
Nevertheless, we should not assume that Americana's have an unfavourable or impatient attitude towards us because as you read my answer their capitalists have either bought and/or invested in Canadian lands and resources.

m sorry you have this feeling. I am an average American who served along side Canadian WW2 soldiers. I think we both had mutual admiration/None of my friends speak ill of Canadians and I know they have no reason to Most intelligent Americans know that Canadians have many qualities that many in this country do not have.

We don't hate Canada. I do however dislike people who cut on my country, my president, and KISS, one of the greatest bands if not THE greatest band in the world. That last one is unforgivable.
