What's happening to the world, you ask? The same things that have *ALWAYS* been happening. Except nowadays, we're actually in a much better position to deal with all this crap.
End of days? Please. Not one generation has gone by where someone wasn't predicting the End of the World Any Time Now. And every time, they thought they had a pretty darned good case. "This is unprecedented in history!" they say. "Things were never this bad!" But they have always been wrong on both counts. And the world has always gone on.
War in the middle east? Since when is that new? Except that in the past, it was considered acceptable for one side to go and slaughter entire cities of the other side. Now, war alarms us precisely because we're not used to it.
Global warming? The Earth has been both much hotter and much cooler in the ancient past, and humans possessing none of today's technolgies like fire, air conditioning, warm clothing, insulated shelters, agriculture, medicine, etc. somehow managed to survive all that just fine.
Children dying? Always a bad thing, and we should always be trying to do something about it, without a doubt. But infant mortality is MUCH lower nowadays than in ancient times. Wars, disease, starvation, exposure, etc. have taken horrendous tolls on infants & children in the past, and in the worst parts of the world continue to do so. But this has gone from being the rule, to being the exception.
People dying from heat? Again, a tragedy, but nothing new, and nothing that wasn't ten times worse in the past. Air conditioning isn't even a century old.
Sometimes it can be too easy to focus on all that's going wrong in the world, and forget or overlook all that's going right. We are arguably living in a MUCH better world than our ancestors did. Take a good lood around you and see if you can't see some beauty in the world. And don't be in such a hurry to go; the world sure isn't.

War in the Middle East. Not news, been that way off and on since written history.
Global Warming, yep ever since the ice age it has been getting a tad bit warmer. It's been getting warmer on Mars too. Not green house gases, but the sun. Global warming due to green house gas is bad science. No truth to it.
People are dieing from heat. Think about how it was before air conditioners. It happened then too.
The difference.. News travels much faster. Bad news travels even faster.

"There shall be wars and rumors of wars....nations shall rise against nations...there shall not be one stone laid upon another"
Yes, what's happening now is mind boggling and outright depressing to witness. It looks like we are paving a way for our own destruction and ultimately death. Everything that has a beginning has an end. It's definitely our time to go, leave this place. But our deceitfulness of riches and lusts of the world will never let us see what's beyond the physical world. There is spiritual chaos all around, in simple words on the verge of plunging into a realm where insanity reigns. What we go though in our lifetime begins with a choice. Walk the path of righteousness and you are bound to witness/ experience life that is pleasant.
Anyways, what matters is the acceptance of a sacrificial offering that took place almost 2000 years from now. If you accept that sacrifice and its significance, then we will see eternal life. This may sound outlandish, but it’s a fact. Believe and be saved! All that matters is spiritual life and its battles. Fear Him who can kill both body and soul. My endeavor is to be acceptable in His sight.

Yes ready to go if this is truly the end of days but, I don't believe it is! The bible tells of the worlds end after wars and natural disasters, and so on on so forth, but it also tells of a 3000 year peace that will be brought by the antichrist, people will be tricked into loving this person/devil because he/she will solve many of the earths problems. and it will confuse those who don't truly believe in christ, this will bring christanity to an all time low, but the followers will be the true ones meant for gods army. This is what is written........ believe it or not. God bless

Nothing is happening much other than before. In fact we have less wars now than at any time in history, we are living longer, we have better health care and we have more leisure time. The real problem we have is global warming but the end of time - please it's always been the end of time every year for over 2,000 years for the church.

I'm glad I was born in 1942, and that I have already lived most of my life. There is nothing ahead but disaster and death for the human race, and probably extinction the way things are going. I'm sad for people who are younger than I am because the best days of humanity have already gone by.

There has always been adversity. Schizophrenic people like to think everything is related. The Romans valued psychopaths for their entertainment value and leadership ability. The question you have to ask is "What am I doing to make this a better world?"

it's so sad..but so true...I'm really terrified when i watch TV and i see:"a little girl died because their parents killed her","40 villages were flooded..there are 100 dead people,20 hurt..the rest of them have no food,no house,no clothes"..and so on...i prefer not watch the news because it really affects me...maybe it's our time to go..maybe we have to live like this (or worse) a long time from now on..only God knows...i really don't wanna go because I'm young and i want to live my life...
