bad things have been happening to/in this world since it's creation. we are simply more aware of it now because this is the time we live in and there are so many more ways to spread our opinions, such as the Internet and television. 100 years ago people were saying the world was on the verge of armageddon, and people will continue saying these things for hundreds more years. we should live in today and not obsess over tomorrow.

The answer to that question could fill a book or two, and it all depends on whether you are talking about the people in the world or what the people are doing to the planet we live on.
Regardless of which one you pick it's easy to see that things are very messed up.

The world has amassed a shitload full of egotistical, teststerone filled hypocrits, who have love only for their own selfish immoral desires. Alot of humans lack the ability to express love and affection towards others, this deficit in the evolution of our beings has trancended into a chaotic chain reaction. Its quite simply put, Its the shear lack of LOVE and its understanding.
