Most of the art from this period are of a Chistian nature. There are many , many pieces titled 'Madonna & Child'--dealing with the birth of Jesus.

Some art by Divinci--was 'the mona lisa' and the staute 'David' by Michealangelo
Think of the names of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and you'll have the greats in renaissance art!!
