going for a job with the post office as a custodian want to know how much they make

it does NOT depend on the city.. the janitor where I am at makes are 15 an hour to start..

They are a part of the maintenance team and do a lot more that sweep floors. You have to call your local USPS and find out when they will be giving the next test. Sign up and wait until you are called. The process can take up to 2 years. They usually start between $9-$12 per hour.

They are likely government employees and/or are union. They probably make at least $12 an hour.

Depends on the city...about $12/hour, plus you get government benefits like paid health care, holidays off, etc
